Strokkur Geyser

 Strokkur Geyser

Strokkur is a highly active geyser located in the Haukadalur Valley in Iceland, part of the larger Geysir geothermal area. It erupts with impressive force evey 5 tro 10 minutes, sending a plume of hot water and steam up to 30 meters (98 feet) into the air! The geyser’s frequent eruptions make it one of Iceland's most popular natural attractions. Surrounding Strokkur are other geothermal features, including hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles, which add to the area’s otherworldly landscape. The site is easily accessible and offers visitors a chance to witness the raw power of Earth’s geothermal activity in action.
